Rabat Ferroalloy has three electric arc furnaces for silico-manganese production, for the first time in Iran, the electrical system of the furnaces has been changed from AC to DC, which has increased the efficiency and quality of production by 30%, as well as reducing electricity consumption by 30%.
All stages of design, construction, installation and operation of Rabat Ferroalloy Complex were done by Kerman Fak Machinery Company (belongs to the shareholders of this complex). The first phase of the Rabat ferroalloy complex was put into operation in 2010 with an annual production capacity of 1200 tons of ferro-molybdenum, and all the ferro-molybdenum products of this complex are exported abroad. Rabat ferroalloy was put into operation in 2016 in the field of silico-manganese and ferromanganese production with a production capacity of 36 thousand tons of products per year. Also, the third phase of this complex in the field of ferrochrome production is about to be launched.
